NEWS

FRIDAY 20TH NOVEMBER
As this day is Children in Need Day and Blue Friday (for the end of Anti-Bullying Week), pupils may
come to school in their own clothes – BLUE AND YELLOW THEME – in return for a £1 donation for the Children in Need Appeal.  Thank you.

Fireworks Night
I would just like to say a very big thank you to all the parents and their friends who came to the fireworks night, it would not be possible without your support! I would also like to thank the following for helping out on the night:-  Dave Wilson and Mrs Goodman on the gate, DP the DJ, Louise and Roulla and their team on Refreshments, Ferdi and her team on the BBQ, Gill Rolfe and Wendy Pilgrim on Glowstix (they tried very hard to look angelic with their halos!), Mrs Marshall and Mr Evans on Fizz and Bang, Miss Fox and her team on the Apple Bobbing, and last but not least, all the Dad's in their very fetching yellow coats on Firemashall duty (you all looked very handsome).  I would also like to thank the Ladies in the office and Melanie Grimshaw for their help with selling the tickets. Christmas Fair
I am still looking for soft toy donations for the Christmas Fair tombola stall.  Please leave in red bins in office entrance.  Thank you Clare Davis, Y4 & Y6.

Christmas Fair Auction
A big thank you to those of you have donated your time/services for the above.  We have had donations for babysitting, haircuts, head teacher for the day and home made Christmas cake amongst others.  Please keep them coming in, all money raised from this is profit and goes towards the benefit of all children in the school.  Once again thank you.

Toy Collection for Christmas Fair
We are still collecting good quality toys for the Toy stall.  Please could you bring any unwanted toys into school and place them in the red bins by reception.  Thanks, Andy Root (parent Year 4).

Festive Fair Stall
We will be collecting for the festive fair stall on the morning of Friday 20th November.  Donations of cakes, biscuits, chocolates, crackers or anything festive is needed to make this very popular stall a success, so please give generously.  Many thanks Lorraine and Karen (Yr 6).

Anti-Bullying Week 2009
We will be celebrating Anti-Bullying Week 2009 next week.  The national theme is “Staying safe in Cyber space”.  We aim to equip children with Anti-bullying skills and attitudes to help them in life.

Christmas Party (Adults only)
You should have received a letter this week about the Christmas Party on Saturday 5th December 8 til late!  Tickets are £4.00 per person (cash only).  Please return your reply slips to the school office by 2/12/09.  Thank you.
